I visited Ed on Friday. One of the nurses was giving him upper body physical therapy. Ed didn't like it!! He moaned and groaned.
My wife spent three months at the same location in 2003/2004 after her stroke. As a matter of fact her room was right across from where ED is now. It was known as the Mariner then. The new owners have made significant improvements to the building/staff. I think Ed is in very good hands.
FYI, it takes about 35 minutes from the Ken Caryl area to get there. Very easy...C-470 to I-25 north to Evans exit east over to Monaco Pkwy then straight up to the corner where it's located. Ed looked very good the day he was transported to it, so they took good care of him at Select, and it looked like this place would too. Cherry Shaler
Marian, Kristy, Dawn and family, you continue in our daily thoughts and prayers. By faith you will be sustained; by your love, Ed will be sustained. We surround you with virtual hugs.

Agree. Very nice, helpful people. Ed has a room (private) next to a nice patio. We'll get him out there in the fresh air one of these days.
