meeting with case worker

The case worker on Dad's case asked to meet with Mom today at 3 (Denver time), presumably to discuss how long they'll keep Dad at Select before we need to move to a new facility. If you happen to read this post before that time, prayers for serenity on my mom's part and wisdom & good bedside manner on the case worker's part would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Marian, Kristy, and Dawn,

Steve and I just heard about Ed. We have you in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. What a wonderful man Ed is to those people he has come to know. Gentle and peaceful and always giving to others. Love to you all,

Dear Marian, Kristy, and Dawn,
Johnny, Gregory and I went to visit Ed on Saturday the 14th. Ed looked very good! He was breathing well, and seemed comfortable. We noticed that his eyes seemed to be moving as if he were having a dream. Marian came while we were there, and it was very nice to visit with her. While we were there, Ed yawned a couple of times and he moved his head around. Marian said she had not seen him do either of those things since the surgery, so she was very hopeful we'll continue to see improvements. I urge everyone who can, to go visit Ed now and talk to him, sing to him, and tell him to wake up. It means so much to his family.
From what we could see, he is receiving outstanding nursing care. --Joy Getha
